Style Spotlight: Statement Necklaces

Hey everyone!  So recently I've been obsessed with statement necklaces.  (I honestly have a wish list of about 50)  They are so cute, and can add so much to a simple outfit.  The only problem is that they are really expensive.  But you can find a lot of cute dupes for a fraction of the cost.  So today I will share some of my favorite necklaces I have come across.  And some dupes for some really popular necklaces.

So recently while searching the sale racks at J. Crew I stumbled upon this amazing bag.  There's two reasons why it's amazing.  One it's my favorite color, and will be a great pop of color for spring.  Second I got it on a great deal.  It was on sale for $100 plus an extra 30% off.  So it ended up being about $75, which is pretty good considering the bag is usually $150. A blizzard in April

 -As you might have already noticed I deleted and added some widgets on the sidebar.  One exciting new thing I added was the widget that lets you follow via email!

-I'm switching my comment system from blogger to disqus.  So if you have noticed all of my posts say 0 comments that's why.  They are so delayed right now it could take up to a week to transfer all of my old comments over.

-I made a pinterest this week, and lets just say I'm obsessed!  So make sure to go and follow me!

 If you have been following me on twitter you might have seen my rants about the weather.  It has been horrible weather here in Minnesota.  There's been at least one blizzard a week for the past month.  Just last week it snowed 15+ inches 30 minutes away from me!  Luckily it missed my town, but it's unreal that it snowed that much on May 1st.  But at least now it's starting to warm up!  What has the weather been like where you live?

Outfit Of The Day

Hey everyone!  Today I'm going to do an outfit of the day.  I rarely ever do these, but I would like to start doing them more often because I think they are really fun to write and to read.  So hopefully once the weather warms up (it's 35° and snowing right now) I will be able to do more!

Here is a close up of the Daniel Wellington watch.  As you can see it is very beautiful and can add to any outfit.  I have had this watch for a few months now and have worn it many times(especially recently) and it still looks brand new.  So I can easily tell that it is a high quality watch that I will have for a long time.  And the best part about the watch is that you can switch out the bands.  DW has a ton of different bands, so this watch can go with countless outfits.  I have another band that you will see in a different outfit post.  If you want to check out the different watches Daniel Wellington has you can go to their site here.

What's In My Bag

Hey everyone!  So recently while searching the sale racks at J. It's a great size for a cross body bag.  It surprisingly has a ton of room, and you can fit all of your essentials and more in it.  I have a few things in it, and still have plenty of room left.

1. A few lipsticks and lip glosses (you can never have enough)
2. Sunglasses
3. Wallet
4. Phone

These are the essentials I have to have in my purse.  More than likely though I will have gum or mints, headphones, and some kind of writing utensil with me.  I also sometimes will have a few miscellaneous things like receipts, band-aids, etc.

Sunday Summary

Stella & Dot 2013 Summer Collection

 Today Stella & Dot came out with their summer collection.  This collection they really focused on the new bags they were launching (which are the cutest!).  Besides the new bags they of course came out with tons of new jewelry.  But what I'm most excited about in this collection is the scarves!  In case you didn't know I have a slight obsession with scarves.  And I am in love with Stella & Dots scarves, they are so big and such great quality.  I'm in love with all of the different patterns they came out with, but they're two that I defiantly need in my closet.  Overall, I really love everything in this collection, so my wish list is already a mile long! Purse Wish List

So recently I have become obsessed with cross body bags and clutches, especially in bright colors.  They are perfect for the summer since they're so little and they also add a pop of color to your outfit.  And since I have a tiny obsession with them I made a list of about 50 I want.  Lets just say my wallet would be a little mad at me if I bought all of the bags.  So unfortunately I had to constrain my list to five bags.  But they're still really cute so it's all right!  READ MORE
