Its my first giveaway!  This giveaway is celebrating many things.  Today I reached 250 followers, two weeks ago was my 6 month blogoversary, and Rulehim recently opened!  Rulehim is an online boutique, with some really cute clothes!  They have everything you need for the perfect outfit!  To celebrate Rulehim opening they were kind enough to give any item $30 or under to one of my followers!

Hey everyone, long time no talk! I'm so sorry about my absence lately. I only have 7 school days left(can't wait!) so I have a ton of school work that needs to be done! There should be a few posts up within the next 7 days, but not many. But after school is over I should be posting more frequently!

Mothers Day Gift Guide

Hey everyone!  Since Mothers Day is in less than a week(May 13th) I decided to do a gift guide!  So I came up with 10 gifts that any mother would love to receive.  I don't know about you but I love to give my mom gifts on Mothers Day.  Its the one day out of the year where moms are supposed to be appreciated!  I have ideas for the people that don't want to spend any money, and ideas for the people who want to spoil their mom a little!  

1) Bake a cake- Show her how much you love her and bake a cake!  

2) Get her flowers- Order flowers from 1-800-flowers or go to your local flower boutique.  Even if its not the most extravagant gift, she will still love it because its the thought that counts.

3) Be mom for the day- Literally do everything your mom does for the day.  Like clean the house, make her breakfast, just do stuff like that.

4) Find out what she wants- Be secretive when doing this, don't just flat out ask her "so what do you want for Mothers Day?"  Just take note of what shes been wanting.  Like when you go to the mall and shes eyeing something, or lightly bring it up in a conversation(Mom do you think this bracelet is cute?) 

5) Get her some jewelry- You can never go wrong with jewelry

6) Spa Certificate- A spa certificate would be great because then she could get a facial, Mani/Pedi, anything!  She would never spend money on these things for her self, so this makes a great gift!

7) Nook- If your mom loves to read this would be a great gift for her.  She can have all of her books in one place and its just more convenient!

8) A cook book- If your mom loves to cook, this is a great present.  This would give her a bunch of new recipes to try!

9) Make her a scrapbook- Make her a scrapbook with pictures of you and your family!

10) Go and shop around- You should know what your mom will like and what she wont like.  Just go the the mall and look around!
